Are services covered by OHIP?
Naturopathic doctors are not covered by OHIP in the province of Ontario. Many extended health benefit do have Naturopathy coverage. Please consult your insurance provider.
What can I expect during my initial naturopathy appointment?
During your initial consultation with the Naturopathic Doctor you will review with them any of your health concerns, whether it be a specific complaint or an overall desire for wellness. The consultation will take about an hour and is a very individual process. From the visit you should be able to take home a definate plan of action to work towards the goals or solutions that you have discussed.
